Educator Card
Jefferson County Library provides Educator Cards to all educators living or working at an educational institution in Jefferson County.
Who qualifies for an educator card?
Must be a resident of Jefferson County or work in a Jefferson County educational organization
- Has a valid DPL, CCL, or JCLD resident library card or
- Must provide current photo ID and proof of residency
And one of the following:
- Teacher – show current teacher ID or letter from principal or director stating they are currently employed at the school.
- School can be public, private, or charter
- Homeschool – Provide copy of registration with High Desert ESD (Education Service District)
- Parents can contact Stacy Kelley, Homeschool Coordinator for High Desert Education Service District at 541-693-5656 for copy of registration. (or email stacy.kelley@hdesd.org)
- Parents who have children enrolled in a charter school do not qualify as a homeschool parent

Most Materials allow you to check out items for 7 days to 28 days. Books, Audiobooks, CDs, Magazines, MP3s, and DVDs are all available to request for pick up at the Jefferson County Library.
